Overview
If you are giving someone a card, it’s probably because you want them to enjoy it, so why not give them something they will find interesting and funny? Normal cards are usually boring and predictable, so don’t do that – give them something that will have an actual effect!
The obvious reason – they’re just funnier!
We all know what a normal card is like. You look at it for a few seconds, feel nothing and then either just close it or read the message inside, which is also boring. A good rude card will not only make the recipient laugh but also everyone around them. It’s a great way to get the party started and everyone in the right mood.
Makes both of you feel closer
Giving someone a nice normal card is the same as what everyone else does, but if you go out of your way to choose a good one you’re showing them that you care enough to put in some effort. The affect on them is quite magical; it makes them feel good for two reasons:
- They enjoy reading the card and seeing the amusing picture on the front
- They feel flattered that you put in this extra effort just for them It also makes you feel good! Just imagine how wonderful it feels to see someone smiling because of something you did

Usually when people receive a normal card they don’t bother reading what’s inside because they know it’ll be boring, but if it’s an interesting card they will want to see what’s inside. This allows you to write something fun that’ll make them smile even more!
Better for giving to friends or loved ones?
These types of cards are perfect for anyone who has any sense of humour, but usually better for giving to people closer to us. This is simply because we’re more likely to know what sort of things they’d like and therefore which card is best. Having said that though most people like this sort of thing so if you’re not sure about whether they’d like it or not I’d say just go for it. The worst thing that’ll happen is that they won’t find it funny but at least they’ll appreciate the effort.
Which occasions are best?
Most of our customers buy birthday cards but we also sell lots of valentines day cards too. I think this is mostly because these are the most common situations where people give cards rather than being more suitable occasions. As I said earlier though these sorts of cards are suitable for every occasion.
