Collection: Rude Birthday Gifts For Your Lover

Overview

The best rude birthday gift you can give your lover is something that will be funny and memorable. I recommend something that is a bit playful but not too offensive. If in doubt just ask them or get something mild.

The rest of this article goes into more detail about how to choose, what to give and how to present it.

This article covers how to choose the right sort of gift, which style to go for, how much to spend and how to present it. I also try to answer some common questions.

If you still have questions after reading this, just drop me a message through the contact form or one of the many chat widgets on my shop.

How do I know which sort of thing they’ll like?

Most people like something witty and memorable, but some people do like something a little more intimate. If you don’t already know which sort of person they are, just ask them! You don’t have to ask directly if you think that will spoil the surprise; just ask them what they think about something you saw for sale somewhere. If you need help with this, just drop me a message, I’m happy to help!

If you really don’t want them to know you’re planning a gift for them, maybe ask one of their friends or someone else who knows them well.

And if all else fails just get something low-risk like a candle with a silly message on it. Most people would be happy with that even if it’s not the best option.

How much should I spend?

This is an interesting topic as we all seem to have different expectations when it comes to spending money on gifts.

I’ve always thought that expensive gifts are not necessarily good ones; I’d much rather receive a thoughtful gift that shows the other person has spent time thinking about me and what present would make me happy. I’ve received lots of gifts over the years and my most treasured ones are those that cost little or nothing but show that the other person has put some thought into it.

What sort of thing should I buy?

Well again this depends on what sort of person they are, but usually something playful or witty is best; in most cases buying them underwear is probably not suitable unless it’s clear between both of you that this is appropriate.

Of course it also depends on whether you’ve been together long; if not then it’s probably better to go for something less intimate.

Whatever you choose though, get something special and personal that’ll make them feel loved and appreciated.
