Overview
This collection contains a range of pussy-themed gifts and greetings cards. They are generally bought as a light-hearted way to tease a friend who is being boring, reserved or overly cautious.
Summary
The word 'pussy' is one of those classic terms that has two very different meanings; it either refers to a cat, or it refers to something you probably shouldn't be talking about in public. Well, I suppose you could talk about cats in public, but most people don't.
Either way, we have a few products that refer to both definitions; some that feature cute little kitties, and others that make fun of your friend's genitals. Or maybe both at once.
I think it's safe to say that most people who buy these products are hoping for the latter, and even though they're going to send it as a joke, they secretly hope that the recipient will take it personally and feel genuinely embarrassed.
That's what I'd hope for anyway.
The reason people buy these cards and gifts
Most of us have someone in our lives who is a bit too reserved. The kind of person who holds themselves back from doing things because they fear the outcome.
We all know this is how we're supposed to live because that's how we've been taught since we were little babies. We're told not to do anything unless we're told it's ok by someone more important than us; whether it's putting our hand up for permission to go to the toilet at school or asking our boss if we can go home yet.
It sounds ridiculous when you put it like that but that's literally what happens; no wonder we grow up being afraid of everything.
Somewhere along the line though, some people wake up and realise how weird this is and start breaking out of it. It feels good when you finally get there but it's not easy knowing where to start. This is where you come in; this friend needs your help and giving them one of these awesome products is exactly what they need. Of course, it'll make them giggle and feel embarrassed at first, but after they've had time to think about it they'll realise you're right; they just need to get out there and do something scary!
Who are these cards and gifts for?
I think I answered this above really but I'll say it again: this is for someone who needs a gentle push into doing something they're afraid of.
This could be anything from asking someone on a date or quitting their job, as long as it's something they're holding themselves back from doing. Of course, it's up to you whether you explain which thing you're referring to when you give them the gift or card. I guess it depends on how obvious it is :)
Who doesn't want them?
This is harder (ooh err) because most people won't admit they're being boring or scared. I bet if you have someone like this in your life you'll already know who I'm talking about though!
I will say though that if they've been living like this all their life then it'll be really hard for them to change so you'll need some patience with them!

What to write in the card or message in the gift?
This is easy! Just tell them whatever you think they're holding themselves back from doing. Just write something like 'come on just do [something], what have you got to lose?'
You may need to word it differently depending on what it is but I'm sure you'll figure it out!
When to send these cards or give these gifts?
You could wait until their birthday but if I were you'd I'd just do it now! If they really need a push then there's no point waiting until they get even older! If you'd rather wait until there's an event then maybe think about something coming up that might make sense. If you're lucky enough they'll be in some sort of situation where they're struggling with making a decision so maybe tie your gift idea with that somehow. That way it'll make more sense when they receive it!
