We like The Natural Love Company because their products are high quality and well considered, as well as being ethical and sustainable.
Sustainability
I won’t get into the details of their environmental policy or the materials they use as you can look that up on their website if you want, but I will say that it’s refreshing to see a company where this is one of their core messages. I know I’m not alone in being aware of my impact on the planet but also not really knowing what to do about it. It’s easy to say ‘just buy things with less plastic’, but that’s really not possible for most things. And even if you can find an option with less packaging, it’s probably expensive and hard to get hold of. So it’s great to see a shop making it easier for us to make these more responsible choices. It makes sense though doesn’t it? When you think about ‘intimate time’, we associate it with being natural, simple and earthy, so why would you use products that are made from all sorts of chemicals and wrapped in plastic? That said; I do like a bit of plastic sometimes…
Quality
I’ll be honest, the first thing I thought when I heard about The Natural Love Company was that they were just selling normal products but with a ‘green’ message. And that thought wasn’t helped by looking at the products – a lot of them look quite simple and basic. But when you start reading the descriptions (which are often quite entertaining!) you realise that actually they’re pretty clever. A good example is the mountable vibrator that can be used alone or with a partner in several different ways. Or maybe the dual-vibrating male toy which is very obviously designed by someone who understands how bodies work! So yeah it seems that they’re not just basic toys after all.
Usability
This is another thing I like about them; the usability is pretty good. Firstly their website is clear and simple, but also includes all the information you need without any clutter or irrelevant distractions. The same applies to everything else too; from ordering to getting help with questions, everything just works.
Ethics
I don’t know about you but this is a big one for me. We all know what it’s like to have a problem with something we’ve bought; we try contacting support only to be ignored or treated badly. One thing I love about The Natural Love Company is that they have real people working there who clearly care about helping customers. It makes sense doesn’t it? If they care enough about making things better for the planet then surely they also care about us too?
Conclusion
I really do recommend The Natural Love Company; whether you care about doing your bit for the planet or not, at least take a look at their site as they do have some lovely stuff!
