Who it’s for – your best friend or someone you don’t know well?
This is important because if it is a close friend then you can probably get away with something more extreme than if it’s someone you haven’t known for long. Also, if they are a close friend then you probably know them better so can choose something that suits them.
Their sense of humour – are they easily offended?
Some people love be made fun of, and others not so much. You should consider this when choosing because if they’re not up for it then it could be embarrassing for both of you.
